1) Choose the wallet

You will need a wallet to store your Monero. We do support mining directly to Exchanges, but we don’t recommend it. The use case for using the feature would be for NiceHash orders where you want to dump quickly. Exchanges do get hacked, they rotate wallet addresses as wallet history becomes very large and you are not in charge of your wallet details.

HashVault hosts a public blockchain for each coin we have a pool for, you are welcome and invited to use them if downloading the Blockchain feels too much.

Monero official wallet: The safest way to store and secure your XMR.Feel free to use our open monerod node: hashvaultsvg2rinvxz7kos77hdfm6zrd5yco3tx2yh2linsmusfwyad.onion:18081

2) Download mining software

3) Pick a mining URL best suited to your miner

4) Configure your miner

  • Full username layout: WALLET+STATIC_DIFFICULTY
    • WALLET - your wallet address, required
    • STATIC_DIFFICULTY - optional value to bind your job difficulty statically
  • Password layout: WORKER_NAME
    • Optional field that could be used as your worker identifier to distinguish your dedicated devices at the dashboard

Here is the example configuration for each of the available miners:

    XMRig

    torsocks ./xmrig --url onion.tor.my:443 --user YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS --pass MyWorkerName --donate-level 1 --tls --tls-fingerprint 420c7850e09b7c0bdcf748a7da9eb3647daf8515718f36d9ccfdd6b9ff834b14
